Advance registration is requested for Saturday May 30’s “History of Texas Music Conference,” produced by the Dallas Public Library’s Fine Arts Division. Twelve sessions feature speakers and performers who’ll cover a historical range of different styles, including Southern gospel, Texas blues, and rock bands from the ‘60s. There’ll be a screening of Fort Worth filmmaker Melissa Kirkendall’s doc “Teen a Go-Go.” This Dallas Public Library event is free, but again, advance registration is requested.
