This tearful goodbye between veteran news anchors Mike Snyder and Jane McGarry — complete with handholding, long gazes, and heartfelt “I love you’s” – is a freak show.
And remember, Snyder is only switching to an earlier broadcast.
News anchor Chip Moody made less of a hoopty-doo when he stepped down as Channel 8 news anchor in 1999 – and he was dying of cancer.
