The next surreal chapter in the life of George W. Bush plays out here in Fort Worth on Monday. He’s starting his career as a motivational speaker! The all-day event at Fort Worth Convention Center also features Colin Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and, uh, Terry Bradshaw. Does Bradshaw give a better speech in this context than W? Who cares? The politician whose verbal gaffes launched a thousand YouTube clips is now looking to make a career as a speaker. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Sometimes life imitates stories in The Onion.

The ex-president is already getting some advice on his new direction. Tickets are scarce, but they’re also cheap. If you can snag one of them, it’ll be worth the price just for the possible comedy value.
