A new visual art-related nonprofit educational organization is taking reservations for upcoming classes. unleash heART is for children and teens between the ages of 7 and 15, and first of nine scheduled 90-minute classes is on Tue., Jan. 12, from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center (1300 Gendy St. in the Cultural District, 817-738-1938). Art supplies are included in the $250-per-child/teen tuition fee, plus a goodie bag that contains an unleash heART t-shirt, sticker, magnet, and group photo. At the end of the program in mid-March will be a group exhibition of students’ work at place to be determined. A rolling scholarship will be offered to one student per program. Enroll here.
