Tonight (Friday) at Lola’s Saloon Sixth (2736 W 6th St, in the W 7th St corridor, 817-877-0666): Telegraph Canyon, recent Weekly feature subjects Chatterton, and Denton’s Glen Farris.

Also tonight, at 1919 Hemphill on the near South Side (817-920-9665): a touring show featuring Geronimo!, Fight Pretty, Big Fiction, and Ghost Town Electric.

Tomorrow night (Saturday) at The Boiler Room (101 W Hickory St, 940-566-5483) in Denton: The Burning Hotels, Billy Ratcliff & The Economy, The Polycorns, and The Tellevators.

And at Woody’s Tavern (4744 Bryant Irvin Rd, 817-732-4936): Live Oak Decline and Austinite-via-TCU Rob Baird, whose new album on Carnival should be out in a couple of weeks if not sooner.

On Tuesday, catch the annual (or semi-) Bertha Coolidge gig, at Scat Jazz Lounge (111 W 4th St, Sundance Square, 817-870-9100).
