Attention, high school creative writing teachers: Do you have a student who makes mysterious classroom comments like “actors are exhausting” and “the fourth wall is not sacred?” If so, you may have a budding playwright on your hands.

This Sunday May 16 at 3pm, Circle Theatre (in conjunction with Fort Worth Theatre) will host a staged reading of selected plays by area high school students as part of the High School Playwriting Project. Winners include Lien Le’s In Facebook Wii Trust; Caroline Rodriguez’s Juggling Daggers; Virginia Greene’s Simplicity; and James Ekstrom’s The Hindenburg. The readings and a reception take place at the Circle theater space, 230 W 4th St, FW. It’s all free. For info call 817-877-3040.
