Junior high and high school-aged people with a flair for the dramatic are pretty common. Teenagers whose flair for the dramatic can earn them big bucks on TV and in film are a much rarer breed. Amphibian Productions wants to separate the pro’s from the amateurs with its 2010 Young Actors’ Workshop (for kids aged 13-18) August 9-13 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.

New York-based film, TV, and stage actor JP Matthews will present an intensive course on acting techniques for the camera, including a special emphasis on acting in TV commercials. Fee for the workshop is $225 with a $30 non-refundable deposit. There are currently three spots available, but you must pre-register at info@amphibianproductions.org or call 817-923-3012.
