This week’s “Stage” page features an interview with actress Trisha Miller, former Dallasite and current Portland, OR resident who’s been performing with TCU’s Trinity Shakespeare Festival since its inception in 2009. Miller has the honor of playing Rosalind, the genderbending heroine of Trinity’s current production of As You Like It. “Beauty provoketh thieves sooner than gold,” the character declares at one point, and audiences throughout the centuries have wanted to steal away with this wise, witty woman.

This is a big week for Shakespeare in the Fort. Stolen Shakespeare Guild also opens its annual Stolen Shakespeare Festival with repertory stagings of Henry V and Shakespeare’s “lost” script Double Falsehood June 10-26 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. (Stolen Shakespeare is only the second company in the U.S. to produce this controversial show). Meanwhile, Arts Fifth Avenue presents Two Gentlemen of Verona on its outdoor stage June 10-19.
