Say goodbye to a beloved Clubland institution on Sunday.

After 13 and a half years, The Mule Pub, near the intersection of Camp Bowie and Horne on the West Side, will close. Apparently, the building’s landlord and Mule owner Robbie Turman, who also owns nearby Oscar’s Pub, could not agree on new terms, regardless of a rent increase. “It sucks,” Turman said. “I’m OK with the rent hike. In fact, I offered more. [The landlord] just has some extra B.S. in [the contract] that is crazy.”

On The Mule’s last day, Sunday, there’ll be an epic bash starting at 4pm with a performance by creative cover band Poo Live Crew. Karaoke, of course, will follow.
