Full disclosure: As I kid, I sucked at math. I was decent at multiplication and division, but fractions pretty much mystified me. I just didn’t care. Maybe I’d have applied myself to the task a little more with an interactive, bilingual kids’ exhibit like Cyberchase – The Chase Is On! at the American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum through Sept 3.

Based on the PBS educational show Cyberchase, The Chase Is On! is an internet-era exploration of mathematical concepts in which “kids will enter Cyberspace through a special portal to find favorite websites, including the Control Central, the Grim Wreaker, and Poddleville, and be greeted by Mother Board, the peace-loving leader of Cyberspace.” That sounds more like Lidsville than Sesame Street, but it’s none of my business.
