After three years of work, North Texas filmmaker Robert L. Camina is finally debuting his documentary feature Raid of the Rainbow Lounge 7:30pm tomorrow night (Thur Mar 15) at the AMC Palace 9 in Sundance Square. The movie features interviews with more than 35 people who were affected directly or indirectly by the June 2009 raid of a Fort Worth gay bar that brought scathing international attention to the Fort, especially its police department. Police chief Jeff Halstead will be in attendance, as will city manager Tom Higgins and several councilpeople. The emotions in that theater will be varied and complicated, to say the least.
