Five minutes of meditation can be equivalent to a good, long nap, but for most of us, achieving complete stillness and silence is beyond difficult. To help frustrated meditation students begin to control their thoughts and learn about the structure of the brain, there will be a meditation workshop 6:45-8pm at The Wellness Center, 2481 Forest Park Blvd, FW. Following up on their Summer White Wine Festival in June, the good folks at FnG Eats are hosting a similar event but with a different kind of libation. In The Little Tin Man, a struggling actor fights for the role of the mayor of Munchkinland in Martin Scorsese’s big budget (fictional) remake of The Wizard of Oz.
