Mother Nature –– in collaboration with Jack Frost and, possibly, Climate Change Multinational, Inc. –– can down our power lines, fell our tree branches, and turn our roadways into Galleria-quality ice rinks. But dammit, they cannot keep us from our favorite annual performing arts bake sale: Jubilee Theatre’s Holiday Bake Sale was rescheduled from last weekend to 5pm Sun Dec 15 at the theater’s 506 Main Street downtown performance space.

No admission will be charged to the auction-style sale, which immediately follows the matinee performance of Jubilee’s current production Jubilation: The Christmas Musical. Instead, participants can buy a glass of wine or some other libation and bid for handcrafted original art pieces as well as homemade cookies, cakes, pies, and candies, all created by Jubilee staffers, volunteers, and patrons.
