I really enjoyed the article and have been interested in doing some beekeeping
myself. I am curious how Mr. Hall has permission in city limits to keep bees.
Does he have an agricultural exemption? Is this even needed?
Thanks to Sarah
Perry for bringing more information of the local beekeeping to the public.

You don't need permission from the city or an agricultural exemption to keep
bees.

Most municipalities don't have an ordinance against bees specifically. Some
cities have a "nuisance" ordinance, and bees could potentially fall in
this category. Best policy is to check with your neighbors to make sure they're
on board...the prospect of a little free honey always sweetens the deal.

Huge fan of the bees and honey. Thanks for featuring some beekeepers in this
article.

Ok, I have recently bought a house and there seems to be a problem with a
honeybee hive inside the wall of my house. I have inquired all over the place
of how I can get rid of these bees. Could someone please help!! I am highly
allergic to bees and I would love to give them to someone that would like to
have them.
