New Year’s Eve in New Stockyards Venue

by Jimmy Fowler

If you haven’t made New Year’s Eve plans yet, what better way to ring in 2010 than in a brand spankin’ new Stockyards entertainment venue? The Palace Room and Stockyards Event Center (2525 Rodeo Plaza in the Stockyards) will open its doors Thursday December 31 for an inaugural concert by Nashville/Austin musician Leigh Cates. Admission is $45-90 and includes buffet and party favors. However – and this is extremely freakin’ important to remember – the Cates’ New Year’s Eve show is BYOB. Set ups will be available. Doors open at 8pm. Call 817-229-1307 for info.
