The Walrus Lives Koo Koo Kachoo

by Jeff Prince

The Paul McCartney concert coming up on Aug. 19 sounds tempting even though several people told me the sound system really sucked at the George Strait and Reba McEntire show on June 6.

Even with the world’s greatest sound system, McEntire still sounds like this mongoose being attacked by a rabid mule.

Four years ago I had the good fortune to go see the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney within a few days of each other at the same venue in Dallas. I’ve always loved the Stones but I was surprised that McCartney’s show was so much better on every level. The former Beatle still works hard for his money.
