While Fort Worth Dallas Ballet puts on the most lavish shows and Ballet Arlington imports the most exciting dancers, Bruce Wood Dance Company continues to impress with the originality and overall quality of its productions. Founder/director Wood appears to have an endless supply of bright new choreographic ideas -- he finished his 30th ballet in four years last June -- and may soon have the title of the Balanchine of modern dance, both for the quantity of his output and its joyous musicality.
