Sometimes you want to go where the bartender remembers your name and he's always glad you came. Dave, not to his friends but to everyone, is quick with a handshake and smile, quick with the drinks, quick to keep the relative peace of a crowded TCU bar and quick to give dollars to be pumped into the jukebox. Unlike the other bars and their tenders on the "TCU Strip," Dave is unpretentious and does not discriminate in his hospitality. That's what gives the Pub a laid-back, "drinking with your buddies" atmosphere. This man with his warm smile is a constant reminder to TCU students and beyond that though they may stray downtown, they'll always come home to the Pub.
