Anyone who needs reminding that Fort Worth is not New York City needs only go hunting for bagels, which are certainly not a Cowtown specialty. Stein's, however, does an admirable job of rolling 'em out, and they are fresh, flavorful, and slightly chewy, just like they're supposed to be. The deli also offers a variety of tasty toppings -- the lox and cream cheese is decadent -- and the friendly and attentive staffers make sure you get exactly what you want.
