Kudos to the Fort Worth T and all the politicians who finally pulled their heads out of the sand and made public transportation respectable in this one-human/one-car town that's been choking to death on its own hubris. When the Trinity Railway Express chugs into the Ninth Street station this fall, connecting Cowtown by light rail to its sister city to the east and all points in between including the Big Airport, Fort Worth can take a long, deep breath of progressive air and pat itself -- for once -- on its forward-thinking back.
