At long last, someone to give Dale Hansen some competition! Channel 5's new sportscaster is as loud, voluble, and opinionated as his Channel 8 counterpart, but his cosmopolitan West Coast style is a pleasing contrast to Hansen's manner. Scruggs' attitude is real, too, unlike the strained efforts of the Metroplex's various Dale wanna-bes. And we'll bet Dale can't do as good an impression of Shaquille O'Neal.
