KTCU gets this, but considering they play rock music only a fraction of the time, they get only a fraction of the kudos. (Pick a freakin' format! How about music that college students listen to? Nah, that'd make sense.) In what little space remains, it seems appropriate to rail against the current state of radio. It's putrid. It will be a wonder (and a shame) if corporate analog radio exists, beyond a pathetic shell of its former incarnation, by the time the next Best Of awards roll around.
