Country music is pretty much limited to a few stations that consistently come in clearly on the stock radios in our cars and trucks. KTFW (92.1) classic country, KSCS (96.3) mainstream country, and KPLX (99.5) young country each have their strengths and weaknesses, but generally suffer from repetition and stagnant playlists. The best country music is heard from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays on the Texas Renegade Radio program. Afterward, keep the dial where it is and listen to Texas Blues Radio from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
