Get on the Jacksboro Highway (Texas 199) going west out of Fort Worth. Drive across the Lake Worth bridge and go about a mile to Confederate Park (FM 1886). Go left. Drive slowly through Lakeside (speed trap). Once out of the city limits, relax and enjoy the ranches, rolling hills, horses, longhorns, trees, rocks, and cactus. After about five miles, turn right on Church Road at the flashing light. This winds around for a few miles and dead-ends at FM 730. Go left, drive several miles to Tucker Street, and go right. This will meander through rugged country for several miles and finally come to a Y-intersection at Veal Station Road. Go right, and drive about three miles to FM 730. Go left, head into Azle, and take Texas 199 East back to Fort Worth. Don't worry about getting lost -- that's the fun part.
