When the subject of Mexican art comes up, some people still think of Diego Rivera’s murals. The Modern is out to change that with the new exhibit México Inside Out: Themes in Art Since 1990. As the subtitle indicates, the artists in this show tackle political corruption, drug cartel-fueled violence, the gap between rich and poor, and other contemporary issues weighing on Mexican minds. The show runs Sep 15-Jan 5 at 3200 Darnell St, FW. Admission is $4-10. Call 817-738-9215.
