Block Party Time: Doors open at 11am, rain or shine, on Tue, Mar 17 for the 46th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party at J. Giligan’s (400 E Abram St, Arlington, 817-274-8561). The morning kicks off with family-friendly activities, including face painting and balloon art. Enjoy St. Paddy’s essentials like green beer and world-famous Irish Nachos while catching live music throughout the venue—including bands on the restaurant side, bar side, and outdoors—plus a live DJ. Event t-shirts will be available for purchase along with various giveaways and raffles throughout the day. Please note that a $5 cover charge begins at 5pm at the door.
Hooligan’s Pub: Stop by Hooligan’s (310 E Abram St, Ste 150, Arlington, 817-274-1232) on Tue, Mar 17 for Shamrocks & Shenanigans. Enjoy themed drinks, raffles, games, music, prizes, and the elusive green beer while supporting your local Irish pub.
The Mosaic Market: Find the hidden gold coins and shamrocks at Lucky Finds Market (734 Stadium Dr, Arlington) from 1pm to 8pm on Tue, Mar 17, to unlock discounts toward total purchase: 15% off with a Gold Coin, 10% off with a Shamrock.
Race Weekend
Touch-A-Truck Event: Bring the whole family downtown for our premier race weekend event from 4pm-pm, Sat, Mar 14. Downtown Arlington is hosting a free, family-friendly Touch a Truck experience. Located in the city parking lot just west of City Hall (201 W Abram St). Kids of all ages can get up close with massive construction gear, emergency vehicles, and unique specialty trucks. Enjoy free face painting, balloon twisting, chalk art, crafts, and more at this family-friendly event.
The “Pit Stop” Food Drive: We are racing to end hunger! Bring your canned food donations to the event to benefit Mission Arlington. Every donation helps fuel our local community. Afterwards, head to one of our Downtown restaurants to refuel with food and drinks. It’s the perfect pit stop to fuel your weekend excitement before the big race.
