MSNBC news anchor Rachel Maddow is about as subtle as an anvil, and she’s in true form in this recent report about the growing number of earthquakes in Texas and their link to natural gas drilling disposal wells.

To help prove her case, she quotes from this Fort Worth Weekly story by Krista M. Torralva: (see video at about the 7 minute mark.)

Maddow’s skepticism is on full display when she reads the Weekly‘s quote by a Texas Railroad Commission employee saying, “Commission staff have no science or data at this time linking these minor seismic events to oilfield activities.”

Maddow smirks, looks down at her desk, scribbles on a piece of paper, and says, “…at this time…no science or data…at this time… .”

She taps her pencil furiously on her desk, looks up, smiles, and says, “Times may be changing.”
