The first single off the Jaybirds’ upcoming sophomore album is here.

Recorded at their Saginaw home studio over the past year and mastered by Bart Rose at Fort Worth Sound (Toadies, Pat Green, Deryl Dodd), Good as Gold will hit all digital streaming services by the end of summer.

Written as a sarcastic tough-love letter to someone who continually plays the victim, “Crocodile Tears” is Southern punk ’n’ roll at its finest.

Filmed by Jaybirds drummer Connor Mullen and his Vibe Media Co., the video takes in the studio and multiple locations in Saginaw. Look out for them-there crocs — they don’t mess around.
