Now in its third year, the Summer Orchestral Conducting Institute has made Fort Worth an international destination for conductors who wish to hone their craft. The Conducting Institute’s founder, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, recently stepped down as music director of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra after a 20-year career at the podium. Harth-Bedoya told us about his recent career changes and why he is so passionate about teaching the next generation of conductors.
