While Texas chugs along with the second-highest overall beer sales in the United States, it’s trailing behind at 48th in breweries per capita. Enter Stuart and Allyssa Maples, who decided that North Texas needed to #BranchOut.
Maple Branch Craft Brewery & Kitchen was honored as Texas Craft Brewery of the Year in 2024. Their Russian Imperial Stout stole the show with gold at the 2025 Texas Craft Brewers Cup, while also scoring double silver at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival with their English Brown Ale. Additionally, their raspberry blonde ale made with real raspberries called “Raspberry Fields” currently boasts five medals to its name. Over the past six years, the brewery has garnered more than 25 awards, with many of its beers receiving multiple accolades.

Focusing on the highest standard of craft quality, Maple Branch features 24 handcrafted beers on tap for the most comprehensive and traditional tasting experience. The scratch kitchen offers a diverse menu that includes wood-fired pizzas, smashburgers, giant Bavarian pretzels, and chicken wings fried in beef tallow, all made with premium ingredients complemented by daily lunch specials. Monthly flight pairings, such as the famous gourmet hot dog flight and glass-and-plate dinner specials, are thoughtfully curated to dually enhance the craft beer and culinary experience. Private reservations are available year-round, complete with an extensive catering menu. Keep an eye on their events calendar…something fun is always brewing!

The Maples continued to #BranchOut by extending their passion for craft products to another beloved beverage: coffee! Unveiling a coffee shop connected to the brewery in 2025, Branch & Bean Coffee + Roastery imports raw coffee beans from around the planet and roasts on-site to ensure optimal flavor and quality. Using state-of-the-art machines, the coffee brewing process yields exceptional results, with scratch-baked pastries harmonizing both spheres of craft artistry. Other breakfast options available include hot breakfast tacos, tasty sandwiches, and savory burritos paired with vibrantly roasted salsa. Connected to the Maple Branch taproom, it features a spacious outdoor beer garden set against a stunning natural backdrop and a picturesque fountain.
Nestled behind Montgomery Plaza in the Foundry District, the brewery welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday at 11 AM, while the coffee shop opens its doors daily at 7 AM.
