Yesterday, the Tarrant County Young Democrats announced that they, along with the TCU College Democrats, are hosting the first democratic gubernatorial primary candidates’ forum at TCU’s student center (the Horned Frog Ball Room) on Wednesday Nov. 18 at 7pm. No word yet on which candidates have committed to attend the forum, but the Young Dems’ website said that all serious candidates have been contacted. A spokesperson for the young dems said that they will announce which candidates will be attending the forum within the next couple of weeks. The candidates will be asked eight questions, three of which will be picked from student submissions, the others will be picked by the young dems.

Also check out http://www.tcdp.net for information about the Tarrant County Democratic Women’s Club that is hosting a Chili Cook Off in Benbrook on Saturday, Oct. 24….some have heard rustlings that Kinky has been invited. Who cares, there will be lots of LOCAL folks to keep the conversation sparkling!
