Rockstar Sports Bar is relocating from its current spot off the South Freeway by Burleson to a larger venue at 5751 Bridge St. on the East Side. The new spot will have almost 200 parking spaces, plus a larger stage and “better lighting and sound,” according to the club. The grand opening is New Year’s Eve, Thu., Dec. 31. The last shows at the old spot will be this weekend, with Aska, Millennial Reign, Mischief, and Michelle Johnson on Friday, and Lithium and KISS tribute band Love Gun on Saturday.

This place will do well over there. Think about it. Not too many live music venues on that side of the tracks. Hope they put together a good music calendar as it is needed.

I went to the new location last week and the place is great! Same staff in a much better location. The bar is beautiful, spacious and a lot of fun. Same great vibe and good music, but in a totally better place! Good move, Rockstar!

hands down one of the best bars around. Great atmosphere, hot waitresses and damn good burger. Just what East FW needed.
