Temperatures are expected to drop dramatically this weekend. The local project known as “Warm Up Fort Worth” is collecting donations of cold-weather attire for the city’s homeless and needy. “WUFW” needs plenty of socks as well as new or used-but-clean jackets, coats, pants, shirts, blankets, hats, gloves, scarves, and any other clothing items that will keep people warm. Donations can be dropped off at The Chat Room, 1263 W Magnolia Ave, FW. Deadline is Sunday (November 14) at noon. Volunteers are also sought to help sort through and deliver the items.
