Lakers Get Drummed By Mavs, Icon, Media, Etc
First, the Dallas Mavericks went after them with a flamethrower. Then former Los Angeles Lakers superstar Magic Johnson threw fuel on the fire by saying his team should be blown up. Now the L.A. media is roasting hot dogs over the blaze.
It was a tough week for the Lakers — and it couldn’t have happened to a better bunch of spoiled, cheap-shot artist primadonnas.
LA Times writer T.J. Simers wrote his post mortem today, including this low blow: “Thank heavens it was Mother’s Day, a great reminder to the Lakers that someone still loves them, if only their mothers.”
So goodbye and good riddance to the Lakers, and hello rest and relaxation for the Mavs, who have a bit of down time while waiting to see who they play next on their way to winning their first NBA championship.
