After a few years of great foodie buzz, Chef Point Café in Watauga is now nationally known as the North Texas gas station that serves veal osso bucco, pecan-crusted corvina, and swordfish. This morning they partnered with a local TV station to do a cheap gas promotion — lowering the price to 99 cents a gallon for one hour – and help promote their current restaurant expansion, which will double the floor space and add a full service bar by September. If you have not yet filled your tank with yummy at Chef Point, the grand reopening will be your perfect excuse.
