Money is tight for a lot of people these days, and living a life of cultcha – attending the museums, the symphony, the opera, the theater – can get pricey. But this weekend, you have no excuse to neglect the fine museums in Fort Worth’s Cultural District: Saturday (Sept 24) is National Museum Day as well as the city’s Day in the District. From 10am-5pm, admission is free to nine cultural hot spots, including The Kimbell, The Modern, The Amon, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and others. There will also be free special performances at various locations.
