TOMATO FIGHTERS.

City slickers in Dallas tend to look at Fort Worth as unsophisticated country rubes infatuated with cows and ranches.

Tomato Battle is Sept. 8 at Fair Park in Dallas. Expect plenty of beer, live music, and slimy tomatoes. Organizers say the tomatoes provided are beyond ripe and, therefore, inedible — so they might as well be hurled during a wild-ass music party.
