The Texas Restaurant Association is giving love to Fort Worth’s legendary Mexican restaurant Joe T. Garcia’s.

Sometimes love hurts.

The association is an advocate for the foodservice industry, and is developing oral history projects to commemorate the state’s most iconic restaurants.

Joe T. Garcia’s was among the first four oral histories produced because of “its significant impact on the industry and Texas’ food culture,” an association press release said.

However, this oral history video includes kitchen photos that don’t exactly make me want to run to Joe T’s.

Is it possible to make food appear more bland and unappealing?
