Officially, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art’s exhibit Plexus No. 34 doesn’t open until Tuesday, but you can in fact see it right now if you head over to the museum. The Mexican-American artist Gabriel Dawe has strung thousands of rainbow-colored threads over the museum’s atrium, turning the airspace above the main staircase into its own canvas. The exhibit will be up until 2018, so you can observe it in all manner of weather conditions.
