Fort Worth Art Fair (FWAF) returns to Sundance Square Plaza this Thursday thru Sunday, April 16-19, bringing together over 100 Local and Texas artists, a curation of 26 local bands, orchestras, and DJs, and thousands of visitors, for a four-day celebration of the creative makers who shape Fort Worth’s cultural landscape.
As part of its continued growth, and new this year, FWAF held an open call for local and Texas artists interested in participating alongside a curated selection of galleries. The expanded format broadens opportunities for Texas artists while deepening the Fair’s connection to our local creative community.
Distinguished by its exclusive focus on Fort Worth and Texas-based talent, FWAF unfolds entirely within Sundance Square Plaza – Fort Worth’s Cultural Living Room – offering a distinctly local perspective within a citywide celebration of the arts. The open-air fair provides a relaxed, walkable setting where collectors, community members, and visitors can discover work by local artists while exploring one of Fort Worth’s most iconic destinations.

Artful viewing and/or shopping is open to the public, running daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Local musicians will perform on the Plaza stage from 10:30 AM until 11:00 PM on Thursday and Sunday, and until 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Beyond the Plaza, visitors can extend the experience into Sundance Square’s surrounding galleries, including Eye to Eye, an exhibition by twin painters Dennis and Daniel Blagg at the Caravan of Dreams Gallery, as well as exhibitions at Zona 7 and 400h Galleries.
Public art is also part of the experience. Joining Sundance Square Plaza’s iconic Chisholm Trail mural & Disco Cowboy Hat are new large-scale nature murals by artists including James Prosek and Mantra (Youri Cansell) which are visible atop the buildings surrounding the Plaza; with additional mural art designed by TCU trained artist Trevor Scott located at Sundance Square Parking Garage #4. Plus, don’t miss Sundance’s new multistory Purple Frogs sculpture on the Burk Burnett Bldg (Main Street side).
2026 FWAF Sponsors are Sundance Square, Texas Christian University (TCU), and Visit Fort Worth.
