It has been rumored for awhile that the famed California-based fast food chain, In-N-Out Burger, would be expanding into North Texas. It is now official: Fort Worth’s West Seventh Development has signed a lease with the burger chain where it will occupy the property at the northwest corner of West Seventh and Currie streets.
The chain is fairly simplistic: just three burgers available, along with fries and three milkshakes and soft drinks. Cheap prices as well (two to three bucks for the burgers). In-N-out expects to be up and running by mid-2011, according to the press release, and be open until 1 am on weekdays, and 1:30 am on Friday and Saturday nights. A drive-through will be a part of the new location.
In-N-Out will not be inside the West Seventh Development proper, but on a vacant parking lot on the north side of West Seventh Street near a Wendy’s. Also, it will be just about two blocks away from Fred’s Texas Cafe. Maybe a little burger wars in the works?
