For the third or fourth consecutive year in a row, Fort Worth throwback metal-heads Complete will play a sanctioned showcase at the annual SXSW Music Festival (mid-March), bringing the grand total of Fort Worth/817 acts slated to play sanctioned showcases to three — the other two are The Burning Hotels and Telegraph Canyon. There will be a fourth Fort Worth band to play a sanctioned showcase, but I can’t say anything until the details are all ironed out. All I can tell you is that I’m a big fan of this band and that you can hear its music regularly on KXT.
