HATE FOR COWBOYS, JERRY JONES AND JERRY WORLD UNDERSTANDABLE, BUT WHO COULD HATE THE CHEERLEADERS?

The rabid dogs at Yardbarker.com are yelping about the top 5 most hated NFL teams, and naturally the Dallas Cowboys are on the hit list.

This is quite an accomplishment.

Success in the NFL breeds hatred. When the Cowboys were regular Super Bowl contenders, it made sense that fans of other teams in other cities loved to hate the ‘Boys.

So the fact that the Cowboys even made the most hated list despite not having won a playoff game since sometime before the American Revolution speaks well for owner Jerry Jones.

The guy’s a marketing genius.

Call him what you will (arrogant, bombastic, self-absorbed, and a really crappy general manager) but Jones knows how to keep America’s Team on the minds of Americans.

  1. There are tons of Cowboy fans in schools that have never seen them win a championship? They have an aura about them which is incredible. This causes home team fans to resent the Cowboys. In a pee wee league team here in Manorville, NY the students chose to wear the Dallas Cowboys jersey rather the the Giants who have woo 2 championships in the last 4 years. That caused Giant fans to pee their pants and cry for mommy. lol

  2. Look for new corners Claibore and Carr to send Giant fans home to mommy for breast feeding in September.
