Tired of seeing trash floating in the Trinity River?

You can help diminish some of that litter by signing up for the Adopt-A-Drain program.

Here’s more info provided by the Tarrant Regional Water District, which initiated the new water quality initiative in cooperation with the city of Fort Worth.

Click on the above link and you’ll find a map of Fort Worth. Click on the storm drain you want to adopt and put in your custom message (ex: adopted by Boy Scout Troup 12).

Fort Worth has more than 30,000 storm drains.

The Trinity River flows throughout Fort Worth, leading to the creation of an Army post and, later, a settlement in the mid-1800s.
