DFW Craftivism is a local group of socially conscious crafters who’re into everything from knitting, crocheting, and sewing to screen-printing, making patches, and creating ‘zines. They view getting together and making things a little differently – to them, it is an inherently political and personal act in a corporatized, profit-driven world. Check out the international craftivist manifesto.

DFW Craftivism holds its monthly meeting 4:30-6pm Sunday (Sept 18) at 1919 Hemphill. This month’s topic will be making seedballs for your garden. Brush up with this instructional video. The meeting is free and open to the public.
