Lou Chapman intentionally used a faulty Chinese-made toy camera with a plastic lens to take the pictures in his show at Gallery 414, Metaphors and Dark Corners. The aim is to give his photographs of buildings and landscapes a spooky, numinous quality. How well does it work? You can see for yourself until Thanksgiving.
Metaphors and Dark Corners, thru Nov 22.
