From the legendary dub outfit Sub Oslo to the indie-rocking Gospel Swingers and alt-Americana Dove Hunter, Fort Worth drummer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/frontman Quincy Holloway has never failed to be anything less than completely committed to progressive music. In other words, when he’s involved in something, you know it’s gonna be good. Though Dove Hunter broke up recently –– but only to get back together –– Holloway, as I first Tweeted a couple of days ago, is now part of a new project, Run That!, with an arrangement of vocals, electronic drums, keyb’s, and guitar and a boys-and-girls lineup of Lindsey Siegrist, her brother Tyler Siegrist, and Leslie Zvitt, in addition to Holloway. The band doesn’t have any shows lined up, but I’ll let you know when there are some.
