The scheduling dropped too late to make it into our Calendar section this week, but our own Fort Worth Cats will compete for the championship of United League Baseball starting tonight, as LaGrave Field hosts Game 1 of the best-of-five series against the Edinburg Roadrunners. (This assumes that the weather cooperates; last night’s regular-season finale was rained out.) All the games in the series will take place here in Fort Worth, so Cats fans will have multiple cracks at coming out and supporting the team.
