Three years ago, Richard Greenberg’s play Three Days of Rain was revived on Broadway with a cast of Julia Roberts, Paul Rudd, and Bradley Cooper. Amphibian Productions’ staging won’t have any stars of that caliber, but this elegantly constructed piece about the way people in the present can misread the past should provide a stimulating evening of theater. The play runs Sep 10-20 at Sanders Theatre, 1300 Gendy St, FW. Tickets are $15-25. Call 817-923-3012.

Riding your motorcycle in a convoy with a bunch of other motorcycles looks cool, but it’s not something that you automatically know how to do. That’s why Chrome Angels, an organization for female motorcycle enthusiasts, is holding an MSF Group Riding Course to teach women how to ride in groups. The event is at 1:30pm at Willhoite’s, 423 S Main St, Grapevine. The course is free. Call 817-481-7511.

This seems to be the week for charity golf tournaments. The River Legacy Foundation is holding one on Tuesday in Arlington, but today it’s the Vaquero Baja Cross Country Golf Tournament, whose proceeds go toward recruiting and retaining good teachers for Westlake Academy. The tournament is at 3:30pm at Vaquero Club, 2300 Vaquero Club Dr, Westlake. The entry fee is $1,000. Call 817-490-5722.

Movie star Daryl Hannah will be in Fort Worth this evening to take part in the Project Green Summit, a presentation on how small changes in one’s lifestyle can impact the environment. We hope she’s found green-friendly means of transportation to get here – flying private jets to spread an environmental message tends to be self-defeating. The event is at 11:30am at McDavid Studio, 301 E 5th St, FW. Tickets are $20. Call 817-212-4280.
